The HES PTA, in partnership with the HES administration, is pleased to offer our second virtual community forum, focusing on the voices of our Hillcrest Community. Our panel will be made up of parents, students, and faculty, and members will share their perspective of the Black Lives Matter chalk artwork and the impact of race on our school community. Participants will have an opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings, and to offer suggestions of how we can move forward together. The meeting will be held via Zoom, and space is limited to 100 spots. Please email HESEquity@gmail.com for the meeting login.
A student forum will follow at 12:00 p.m. Rising second graders through exiting fifth graders are invited to attend and to share their questions about race, racism, and equity. Student will also have the opportunity to share perspectives and suggestions of how we can move forward together. This meeting will be held via Google Meets. Students will log into their BCPS account and use the Google Meets Code NoHateHedgies.
We hope you will join us!
