On April 19th at 9:30 a.m., First Grade students will attend a special assembly. Master performer Rosalia de Aragon uses storytelling, music, and dance to capture the essence of Spanish Colonial heritage and the traditions of the Southwest. These magical, interactive storytelling experiencs address the wealth of traditions, such as dichos, in Hispanic communities, and remind the audience of the educational value of traditional folk dances, music, and stories in various cultures.
