The Hillcrest PTA is proud to offer our third summer equity forum, dealing with recognizing, understanding, and dismantling implicit bias.
Bias is the inclination to judge without question. It is an automatic response from our brain that happens without our awareness, intention, or control. In this training, Dr. Sandra M. Quezada will provide participants with the knowledge and tools to recognize bias in themselves, their behaviors, and in school. Participants are then equipped to disrupt the impact of bias on their decision-making.
Zoom information will be provided to the first 100 registrants.
This event is open to HES families, with limited space reserved for general community members.
