While we don’t know exactly what it will look like, BCPS is preparing for the eventuality of in-person classes. The Hillcrest PTA is calling on the community’s “makers” to create and donate child-size face masks to help protect students, families and staff. You can drop off donations of:
- finished masks
- 100% cotton fabric
- elastic
- cord stoppers
Beginning November 9, donation boxes will be at Hillcrest, and on the porches of 202 N Beechwood Ave., 406 Montrose Ave. and 108 Wyndcrest Ave.
As you pick sizes, remember these will be for kids age 5-11 so we have a full range of needs. And while we don’t have specific patterns requirements, here are a some possibilities:

Stay well!
